Description

Farming Simulator 19 for PC marks the tenth year of the Farming Simulator games, and the twelfth incarnation across all gaming platforms. The game has a unique following amongst those who love the series, and this version offers some exciting new options.

About the Game

Players work at tasks that simulate real life farming tasks, from breeding the best livestock, to growing crops for cash, general good farm management is a must to help the player sell assets that are created on the farm.

Previous versions of the game have included animals like sheep, pigs, cows and chickens: this version has added horses, due, it is said, to popular demand. Crops include brand new cotton and oats alongside wheat and corn (or grains), soybeans, root crops like potatoes, as well as poplar, sugar cane, silage, hay and grass. All the crops and animals have different needs, and must be managed in slightly different ways to the others, giving you plenty of interest in raising a variety of crops and animals.

A big plus for this version of the game is the introduction of, alongside the horses, cotton and oats, as mentioned above, high-end branded machinery, including the well-known John Deere, alongside the likes of Komatsu and Rau, not to mention Wilson trailers.

Play for Zen in Three Exciting Worlds

The beauty of the game is that much of the work is endlessly repetitive: lots of ploughing, sowing, watering, and reaping. This means that the game is basically a grind game, but this is its attraction to the many players who adore it: the repetitive actions have a charm all their own, being almost therapeutic.

There is, however, enough variety with seasonal changes and with taking on new farming tasks, like raising animals or changing the crops being grown to keep the game fresh and interesting. You are even impelled, occasionally, to change your vehicle from time to time as well as performed basic maintenance tasks like refuelling: all of which ensures that your interest remains high and the game does not become boring.

There are three distinct open worlds to play in, each having significant differences to the others. Try them all before picking your favourite to grow your ideal farm, complete with crops and animals.

How to Get Started

  • Start from scratch
Build your farm up from nothing, clearing the ground, sowing the seed and slowly expanding the terrain as you build the assets that allow you to do so.
  • Begin in the middle!
Cheat the system slightly by starting with an already established, moderately sized farm that has initial crops in place and a system just waiting for you to pick up the reins.
  • Manage for the big guy
Get right ahead of the game and start off managing a bigger farm rather than owning your own smaller one. This option gives you access to assets that you might otherwise not be able to get your hands on for a while.
  • Multiplayer
Invite your farming enthusiast friends to come along and farm alongside you. Six people working together makes farm chores a breeze, and you can even invite people from up to fifteen other farms to join up for a huge farming extravaganza.
  • Career Mode
Will take you along the path of a long term farmer, moving gracefully through the seasons, slowly building your farm to the peak of profitability as you go. Meanwhile, Mission Mode offer shorter term satisfaction. Complete tasks, such as mowing or delivering cargo for cash. These tasks have time limits and will earn a bonus for early completion: see how many bonuses you can earn.Farming Simulator 19 for PC is available for purchase on Instant Gaming for a fraction of its retail price.
